Profit of AdGo! rises 33% and sales reached $1.2 billion. Thus, AdGo! is now number 2 in the internet-advertising sector behind Google. AdGo! is specialized on graphical advertising space that merges with the content of the homepage and therefore can't be blocked by the user.
Argument: Bigger screens will make it possible to run websites in a window all day long (for example to show news), while you are using your regular applications (See also the
FAke-Mart-Advertisement below). This will lead to more popularity for graphical advertising like banners. But conventional banners can be easily blocked, so merging of content and advertising like in flash-applications could be a new way of advertising.
Questions: - Do you think the user will accept when information is merged with advertisements?
- Which current websites could transform in such merged-websites? Do you know any websites, which have enough exclusive content to make such a move?
